Puffin 28 is designed to cruise long distances economically. She is powered by a 30 hp diesel and will cruise for days at 7 to 8 knots. Puffin is ideal for cruising the intercoastal waterways and enjoying the scenery as you go. Accommodations are provided for two in a vee-berth forward and a convertible dinette in the pilothouse. Her hull is 3/4" plywood coated in epoxy for years of service. She′s suitable for long-range cruising, exploring local waters, or just having fun on the water.

Estimated cost for quality construction materials (not including power or sails) is $36000. This cost includes a high level of outfit and finish you can be proud of after putting the effort into building this fine boat.
