POWER CRUISER 39 was designed for a client who wanted an able cruising boat with traditional appearance. She is arranged with the live aboard accommodations. Her attached pilothouse has a dinette and pilot berth and will be a great place to watch her go as well as enjoying the anchorage. Her aft house is an ideal place to be in a seaway. Minimal motions here unlike the high forward cabin yachts being used today as passagemakers. Fuel capacity is 600 gallons. Range is between 800 and 1000 nautical miles depending on power selected.

Construction is composite epoxy and plywood. Straight frames and bulkheads provide relatively easy hull construction. Add a deck, trunk cabin, pilothouse, machinery, interior spars and rigging and you will be all set in minimal time compared to many yachts of her capability. Steel hull versions are possible as well.

Estimated cost for quality construction materials (not including power or sails) is $4 to $6 per pound. This cost includes a high level of outfit and finish you can be proud of after putting the effort into building this fine boat.
